The Fellows House

Curio Collection by Hilton

— Brand & Visual Identity

From our research, we identified an opportunity for an authentic connection with the history of Cambridge.

Leveraging inspiration from motifs and influences in the city, we named the hotel ‘The Fellows House’ (celebrating the past, present and future fellows of the university) and crafted its bespoke logo. With the foundations in place, we rolled-out design and strategy for all touch-points; from naming and branding the food & beverage outlet, to interiors, communications and an artwork advisory.

The hotel also offers a stand alone restaurant which we also created a visual identity for. Named The Folio, the concept takes its lead from the typographic characteristics used on the production of historic Folios; offset type, hits of colour and a common use of italicised type.
