Alex Dowse is a London based senior graphic designer & art director. He has over a decade of studio experience working across a wide range of sectors, from hotels and restaurants to fashion labels and sports brands. Over this time he’s built up a wealth of experience, from heading up global rebrands and campaigns, to visual identity systems and packaging, web design and apparel design, to art direction for photoshoots, film and animation.

His approach is one of combining elbow grease with conceptual thinking, attentive problem-solving and collaboration. His classical training and outsider’s perspective gives his work a unique edge which hasn’t yet been exploited to its full potential. Alex likes to draw beauty and clarity from simplicity and is committed to creating meaningful work that adds value. He understands that beautiful work is nothing without commercial reality, and always has two feet firmly planted in function and practicality.
